Based in Whangamatā, we’ve been helping clients bring their new builds and renovations to life since 2019. Our goal is to make the building process smooth and stress-free, while delivering results that stand the test of time. That’s what we call The TPS Way.
I am the proud owner of Taylor Projects & Solutions (TPS), serving the Whangamatā community since 2019.
Embarking on a new build or renovation is a journey filled with both excitement and optimism. However, it can also come with its challenges. I understand the complexities and potential stress this journey brings, which is why I’ve created a framework to ensure it’s an enjoyable and smooth process for all our clients.
It’s this framework and our commitment to our values of integrity, communication, and quality, that have become the core foundations of our vision. We proudly refer to it as the ‘TPS Way’. From our very first apprentice (in 2021) to one of our site foremen, safe to say he's come a long way.
Jayden's stepped up big time over the years, taking on more responsibility and really owning his role on site. Always thinking ahead and getting stuck in, he's a key part of the team these days.
Off site, you'll usually find him out fishing, hunting or camping, making the most of the outdoors. Good to have you leading from the front, mate.

Qualified Builder
Dylan joined the TPS team at the start of the year as a Qualified Builder.
Originally from Auckland, he spent some time driving trucks in Hamilton before making the move back into the trade. He's known on site for his attention to detail and consistency, keeping his building sites as shiny as he kept his truck.
Outside of work, Dylan's usually on the golf course, spending time with family, having a beer with the boys, or working on his new place. Good to have you on the team, mate.
Qualified Builder
Jay came on board in early February and has been a steady hand on site ever since. With over 10 years' experience leading builds and managing teams, he brings a calm, confident approach that keeps projects moving and the crew working well together.
He's always willing to share what he knows and enjoys helping the younger guys grow their skills.

Apprentice Builder
Introducing Damian, one of our latest recruits at TPS! After mastering the art of scaffolding, Damian's now diving head first into the world of building, eager to expand his skill set and kickstart his apprenticeship. His infectious energy, unwavering dedication and excitement make him a perfect addition to our team.
Outside of work, you'll find him enjoying Muay Thai boxing, gaming, and spending quality time with his adorable son.

Introducing Ken! Formerly a fully qualified mechanic and personal trainer, Ken's transition to building not only showcases his versatility but also his desire for continued growth.
Ken brings a contagious energy to the team, combining a bubbly personality with a strong work ethic and genuine respect.
In his spare time, Ken enjoys working out, spending time with his family or working on cars.
Apprentice Builder
Meet our newest (and youngest) member of the TPS team, Isaac!
A long-time Whangamata local, he's joined us as our latest apprentice. Always sporting a fresh cut, Isaac's got a great attitude, is always eager to learn and makes sure to see every task assigned to him through.
Outside of work, he's either playing a sport or enjoying the sea. Great to have you on the team, Isaac!

Qualified Builder
Rowan joined us four months ago and has already become a big part of the team. He's got a diverse background, having worked in a dairy factory, framing and trusses, bricklaying, and building. He brings a well-rounded skill set and a rock-solid work ethic to every project. Plus, when he's on site, you know everything he does will be efficient and consistent in quality.
To add to that, he's also seriously talented on the drums, and we were lucky enough to see it in action a few weeks back.
